Barreling Towards Babylon

With stock markets in free-fall and banks going belly-up, it looks as though the world is headed for a financial 9/11. Governments are trying to step in, attempting to stave off complete collapse. The country of Iceland is on the verge of revolution out of frustration. This, of course, is a time of great confusion, anxiety and panic.

I remember seeing the body of a man lying in the street that had just jumped out of a high rise building in NYC during the 1987-88 market crash. Many people now are asking “Who’s to blame?” Some are pointing their fingers at the stock market, the Fed and even at the US in general as a starting point of panic with the mortgage crisis and Lehman Brothers bankruptcy.

The US has the largest national debt of any country and the National Debt Clock in Times Square actually ran out of space in September. When the debt went over 10 trillion they took away the dollar sign to make room. They plan for a wider clock for 2009 with a quadrillion dollar capacity (including the dollar sign).

When you look at US history, it’s hard not to see how the troubles began. The interesting thing to me is to see how the banking issues are clearly interwoven with issues of global political intrigue. The Hebrew word “babel” basically means confusion and is the root word of the historical kingdom known as Babylon, but has also been used as a name for a future world system. Is the global economic confusion we are seeing these days preparing the way for new aspects of a new world government? Would a financial 9/11 be more devastating than the physical 9/11 was? In order to answer these questions, it helps to go back into history.

Here is a brief time-line of US banking intrigue:

1828: "You are a den of vipers. I intend to rout you out and by the Eternal God I will rout you out. If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning." -Andrew Jackson (to a group of investment bankers trying to persuade him to renew their central bank charter)

1863: “I have the Confederacy before me and the bankers behind me, and for America I fear the bankers most.” - Abraham Lincoln (Both this statement and his assassination two years later occurred during the Civil War)
 
Dec 23, 1913: As a Christmas gift to the US, the Federal Reserve Act is signed by President Woodrow Wilson in a deceptively secret meeting on the day before Christmas Eve. The act was conceived and planned in another secret meeting in 1910 on Jekyll Island, Georgia. This placed control of all US currency into the hands of private individuals and was confessed to be wrong by Wilson himself, by at least two quotes in his book, The New Freedom.
 
1934: Connections are identified between the Federal Reserve and the Bolshevik Revolution. “These twelve private credit monopolies were deceitfully and disloyally foisted upon this Country by the bankers who came here from Europe and repaid us our hospitality by undermining our American institutions…They created a reign of terror in Russia with our money in order to help that war along…They financed Trotsky's passage from New York to Russia so that he might assist in the destruction of the Russian Empire. They fomented and instigated the Russian Revolution, and placed a large fund of American dollars at Trotsky's disposal in one of their branch banks in Sweden so that through him Russian homes might be thoroughly broken up and Russian children flung far and wide from their natural protectors." - Congressman Louis T. McFadden, Former Chairman of the Committee on Banking and Currency in a speech to US Congress
 
1944: World Bank and IMF (International Monetary Fund) created in answer to the chaos and destruction of WWII, towards a centralized global economy. As a kind of economic savior, the main stated purpose was to eliminate poverty, but actual practices and results seem to belie this. US head, Paul Wolfowitz forced to resign after 2007 scandal.
 
1950: "We shall have World Government, whether or not we like it. The only question is whether World Government will be achieved by conquest or consent." - J. Paul Warburg to the US Senate.

1959: The Council on Foreign Relations openly advocates 'building a new international order [which] must be responsive to world aspirations for peace, [and] for social and economic change...an international order...including states labeling themselves as 'Socialist." Study No. 7, published by the C.F.R.

1963: President John Kennedy signs Executive Order No. 11110, for US treasury to issue silver certificates (money) backed by silver bullion. "The thrust of the Order returned the authority to issue new silver certificates...back to the U.S. Treasury." Nearly $4.3 billion in U.S. notes went into circulation. After his assassination five months later, none of his bills ever printed again. If printed, they could have eliminated the national debt. (It should be mentioned that Kennedy had many enemies, including people within the CIA, which he wanted to investigate, as well as many personal enemies).

1972: Bank of Credit and Commerce founded in London. An international bank "set up deliberately to avoid centralized regulatory review," exposed and liquidated in 1991. Newsweek reported the CIA was working inside the bank. This was in addition to using the bank for its own schemes. "Regulators...found it to be involved in money laundering, bribery, support of terrorism, arms trafficking, the sale of nuclear technologies, the commission and facilitation of tax evasion, smuggling, illegal immigration, and the illicit purchases of banks and real estate. The bank was found to have at least $13 billion unaccounted for."

1992: Agenda 21, initiated during Earth Summit, as funded by the World Bank, is "the UN blueprint for the 21 century," bypassing national elected officials and voting procedures with UN mandates. Maurice Strong, a New Age, Socialist billionaire stated at the summit's opening speech: "National sovereignty...is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation." In 2001, The Earth Charter's "Ark of Hope" was walked (and sailed) from Vermont to NYC as a mock "Ark of the Covenant." Strong's UN work was offset by a money scandal probe in 2005.
 
1995: News reporter Gary Webb writes book “Dark Alliance: The CIA, the Contras, and the Crack Cocaine Explosion,” a bombshell disclosure of the corrupt triangle of drug sales, money laundering and profits for the CIA. He was found dead in 2004 with two bullets in his head, the official cause of death ruled as suicide.

1999: Steve Kangas, journalist "web warrior," is found dead under suspicious circumstances, his computer hard drive wiped clean. His articles “The Origins of the Overclass” and “A Timeline of C.I.A. Atrocities” revealed how “Historically, the CIA and society’s elite have been one and the same people.” and showed “The reason they (C.I.A.) overthrew so many democracies is because the people usually voted for policies that multi-national corporations didn't like: land reform, strong labor unions, nationalization of their industries, and greater regulation protecting workers, consumers and the environment.”

Aug 26, 2001: Pre-strike insider stock trading begins, put calls and short sells on United and American Airlines, etc. made prior to 9/11. "Most of these transactions were handled primarily by Deutsche Bank-A.B.Brown, a firm which until 1998 was chaired by A. B."Buzzy" Krongard, who later became executive director of the CIA."

Sept 10, 2001: Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld announces that the Department of Defense "cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions…that's $8,000 for every man, woman and child in America.” A defense analyst said, “The books are cooked routinely year after year." This announcement was buried by the next day’s news of 9/11.

Sept 11, 2001: "Warren Buffett, the second richest man on Earth, hosts a charity event inside Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. A small group of business leaders attend, including at least one who would otherwise have died in the WTC. Bush flies to this same base that day, where there is an underground command center."

Sept 11, 2001: "Recovery experts extract data from 32 WTC computer drives revealing a surge in financial transactions. Illegal transfers of over $100 million may have been made through some WTC computer systems immediately before and during the disaster."

These excerpts just scratch the surface. In any event, it's clear, that since the beginnings of US history, high finance has often been mingled with high treason. The methods of deception and control have only become more sophisticated. The Bible verifies this trend of deception: “Know this, in the last days perilous times shall come...evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” (II Tim 3.1,13). The reason I wrote this article is because I do feel it's important to "know this," as the Apostle Paul wrote, to know what time it is in the big picture of world history. The above facts pose hard questions, uncomfortable questions. There's a temptation to just tune out, but I hope you won't. But where to begin? Is there a general underlying theme to the intrigue? Is it mainly a political issue? Is it right wing or left wing? Or is there something even deeper than political ideology? In today's world, it's hard to know where one deception ends and another one begins.

In order to understand the big picture here, it helps to first look at some of the details. Take the UN "Ark of Hope," for example. It carries both the political Earth Charter as well as the spiritual "Temenos Books." The definition of "temenos" refers to a special place for the worship of pagan gods, promoting the very thing the true ark forbade above all else. It is basically a barrel of hypocrisy and sacrilege. There's no "separation of church and state" to be found in the UN World Government plan. On the contrary, the charter includes it's own "spiritual education." But the "prayers/affirmations for global healing, peace and gratitude" on the ark itself are an interesting contrast to the functional philosophy of the movement which calls for the reduction of human life as necessary. There are many examples of inhumane population control methods being used by the movement. This comes from the underlying belief that “Human beings, as a species, have no more value than slugs.”

Maurice Strong, in 1990, in an interview with Daniel Wood stated: "What if a small group of world leaders were to conclude that the principal risk to the Earth comes from the actions of rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment. Will they do it? The groups conclusion is "no." The rich countries won't do it. They won't change. So, in order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about? This group of world leaders forms a secret society to bring about an economic collapse. " It's an agenda based on deception and destruction. It's the classic a-moral "end justifies the means" mentality. Destroy capitalism, economies and lives in a blaze of glory in order to usher in the New Age paradigm, all for "the earth's highest good."

The movement verifies its subtle spiritual nature by cutting across contrasting ideologies, which may otherwise divide. And the influential Maurice Strong has been playing all sides, all aspects of the political and ideological spectrum for a long time to promote Agenda 21. How far and wide have its tentacles spread? It's hard to say, but Agenda 21 is the world's most radical and sweeping reform, and yet the fact that we have never heard about it before on the evening news, in itself, speaks volumes. (I hardly ever watch TV news but people that do watch TV tell me they have never heard of it).

From what I've read, there has been a corrupt triangle between big business, big media and the CIA for a long time. The CIA has been in the media business since “Operation Mockingbird” began in the 1950's. Since then, apparently, the CIA has had “Mass Media,” on its payroll. Big media is largely controlled by big business, as shown in “The Origins of the Overclass,” for which, it seems, the author paid dearly with his life. The Timeline of CIA Atrocities and many other documents, show how the CIA, as a basically unaccountable government branch, has grown progressively more ruthless. Kangass, the author, was very left wing, but then you look at recent statistics like Bill Clinton’s updated body count and you wonder "who are these guys really working for? Who's really pulling their strings?"

Personally, I believe both the Republicans and the Democrats are supporting the One World agenda. Bush Senior liked throwing the phrase "New World Order" around. And You couldn't miss the One World agenda of Gore and the Clintons. According to the media there are "vast left wing- and vast right wing conspiracies" and a great battle ensuing between the camps. But when you start too dig a little you see that this is really overblown. In the summer of 2000, Mike Hanson and Alex Jones infiltrated the secret Bohemian Grove retreat in the forests surrounding San Francisco, which then became material for a book and a film. Apparently US presidents as far back as Howard Taft have been attending the 17 day events.

For one of the traditional ceremonies, the "cremation of care," the word bizarre would be an understatement. In a candle lit setting, people dress up in druid costumes and a dressed human dummy is carried by boat to an altar and burned. It was disappointing to see that those labelled as "Conservative" and/or "Christian" by the media have been attending this retreat for a long time, including Richard Nixon, Walter Cronkite, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Jack Kemp, and Newt Gingrich, etc. There are photos of these guys, including "born-again" Bush Junior and Senior giving a lakeside talk, as they are called. Interesting also, that in the last presidential election, both John Kerry and Bush junior happened to be bonified Bonesmen. Was there really a choice? Obama choices for National Security Team show that the NWO agenda hasn't changed.

One of the most informative websites on “cover-ups” is “Want to Know.” However, a search for Agenda 21 on their site doesn't reveal a single thing. This would explain why their “Inspiration” page is steeped in New Age lingo. Here are some phrases from their website: “Now, while taking a slow, very deep inhale, say to yourself: “Your sacred love flows in to me.” And an offer to join them... "to help usher in a new paradigm for humanity.” Is this starting to sound familiar? Unfortunately, the “sacred love’s” identity is not straightforward. It’s definitely not coming accross as the love of Jesus Christ. The Bible is the only spiritual book which verifies its authenticity with hundreds of detailed prophecies. One such prophecy is the multiplication of false religions in the last days. (Mat 13.22, 24.24). The Bible prophesies a new world government based on a cashless society (Rev 13.17) and a false religious system. The term for this entire system, political and religious, is called Babylon (Rev 17,18).

This is starting out as the century of scandals including the 9/11 cover-ups, Andersen and Enron, Worldcom, and the mortgage industry, etc. But Agenda 21 is the "mack daddy" of agendas and it has been gaining momentum. In all aspects of our society we seem to be barreling towards Babylon. People looking for answers are beginning to realize that the TV news is mostly compromised and so the internet, the final frontier, has become a major area of focus. In 2006, however, Rumsfeld officially declared “open season” on the internet. This quote describes his intent for the "Information Operations Roadmap:" “US forces should be able to 'disrupt or destroy the full spectrum of globally emerging communications systems, sensors, and weapons systems'." But who is the real enemy and exactly what kind of information does Rumsfeld want to destroy?

"Ordo Novus Saeclorum," or, “A new order of the Ages” is a phrase written under the ancient pyramids on US currency. Interesting how similar this is to the ancient Masonic motto "Ordo ab Chao," Order out of Chaos. So many different faces and names over the ages and yet the idea is the same. As Mother Earth becomes more polluted and the stakes are raised, there is a growing sense of desparation in the Green Movement. It started as a whisper but it's becoming an ever demanding cry "We want the world and we want it now!" The Green Movement has become the Trojan horse that is ushering in the one world Socialist system. But it's so important to realize that this is not merely a political movement, it's a spiritual one.

As Maurice Strong presided over the Earth Summit, "outside his wife Hanne and 300 followers called the Wisdom-Keepers, continuously beat drums, chanted prayers to Gaia, and trended scared flames in order to 'establish and hold the energy field' for the duration of the summit." Footage of these ceremonies is on YouTube. Occultic energy is real but sadly it's often misunderstood. There are many testimonies available, including documentary "Revival of Evil/Cult Expolosion" (rather dated but informative) of people who at first thought they were experiencing the power of benign spirits in the occult but were later horrified by the reality gaining control of their lives.

A major aspect of a Christian’s life is to shine the light of truth (Mat 5.13 and Eph 5.13). But there is often a cost. As the ensuing "Great Repression" gains steam, the cost of following Jesus Christ will increase. The Bible shows that believers will ultimately be forced to choose between life and death in the coming world system. How can you tell what is true light and darkness? True Darkness has always hated true light with a vengance. It always has and always will. John the Baptist was beheaded during the dark Roman Empire, for simply telling Herod Antipas his relationship with his brother’s wife was immoral. The anti-Christian hatred is growing today but by God's Holy Spirit we can still love our enemies because the truth is... "...greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the world." (I Jo 4.4). We don't need to use deception and destruction to achieve our aim because our aim is simply to love God and to love people above all else, at least that is what true Christianity presents.

Christians are to be light and salt in the world, but we need to remember to be first and foremost worshippers of the true and living God. The power of worship was demonstrated by Jehoshaphat and the singers in II Chronicles 20.20. Their praising God helped give them 20/20 vision by faith, even before they saw God working in their midst with their eyes. For us it can enable us to be bold witnesses for Him in the face of opposition. Worship also enables us not to be depressed or anxious in tough times. And it enables us to not be affected by the increasing ugliness and corruption in the world. Philippians 4.8 outlines the positive outlook based on meditating on God’s truths.

We're all sinners, but by God's grace there's complete forgiveness and redemption for the asking. The UN "Ark of Hope" is a counterfeit of the real thing. It cannot offer the true hope, love or peace of God. It can never offer the "Bread of Life," the manna of the true ark, as described in Hebrews 9.4 and John 6, which is a symbol of Jesus Christ Himself. If you don't know Jesus, today would be a good day to seek Him and to invite Him into your heart and your life. His salvation is real. That is the gospel truth. Though the world is barreling towards Babylon, you yourself can be set free by the truth and power of the Holy Spirit. The cloud's silver lining is that people tend to seek God during crisis times. In these darkening perilous days, may we live “valiant for the truth” (Jer 9.3) and the love of the gospel with a holy boldness in every aspect of our lives. We have a "living hope" because Christ lives in us (I Pet 1.3). And let us not forget His words, as our highest example: “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” - John 9:4. Oh, and one piece of advice would be to be prepared for the worst case banking scenario. Have plenty of stored food and water, etc. available, just in case.
