1. A fairly convincing false Christ, Allen John Miller
A.J. Miller is an Australia who claims to be Jesus reincarnated, while a man from Java, Indonesia, known as John Chang, is able to heal and start fires with his bare hands. These men have been examined in extensive interviews as they demonstrate their uncanny powers over other people and over matter itself.
After a 10 month long interview process, the shocking details emerged that not only does AJ Milller believe he is the reincarnated Christ, but his wife believes she is Mary and his followers believe they are Jesus' apostles of approximately 2,000 years ago. Their weeping over their 'memories' shows that they sincerely believe these things to be true. 2 Cor 11:4 states, " For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough."
There is a difference between 'preaching' a 'different Christ' and the 'appearance' of a 'different Christ'. The Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses preach a different Christ, but they do not claim this Christ is alive today in physical from on the earth. This is why someone like A.J. Miller is unique in his timely fulfillment of prophecy, even specific to the point where he dwells "out in the wilderness" in his commune with his followers.
2. A miracle worker and fire starter, "DJ" John Chang
A firestarter / miracle worker from Java, John Chang, also known as 'DJ', was examined by the following team of scientists from the US, as noted at a martial arts website:
- Catherine Cooke, ambassador for the Mind Science Foundation
- Dr. Roger Nilson
- Dr. Gregory Simpson, physicist from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine
And, "Then he get's really strange. He says that mastering yin chi is the key to the spirit world."(5.12) And then Change stated that there is a longstanding tradition in Indonesia that personal objects can be possessed by spirits. He said that he creates an aura by "in which a spirit can manifest itself."(6.25)
As the tests show in the video, the energy Chang used to light the light bulbs does not register on equipment as electrical energy. When asked about his power, he said it was derived from meditation every day. John Chang had stated that his dead teacher, Liao Tsu-Tong, had chastised him all night for demonstrating his powers in a video. The dead spiritual master had told him that these traditions were ancient, secret and sacred. Chang states that anyone can produce fire with his hands, given enough practice. He sees the Chi force as a good thing.
Conclusion
According to the Bible, A.J. Miller is a messiah from down under, way down under, as in hell. He's not a man sent from the true and living Father in heaven. Jesus stated, "So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."(Mat 24.26-27)
Also, Chang's references to secret spiritual forces that can be used to heal people is reminiscent of Simon the sorcerer in the book of Acts Chapter 8. His ability to start fires with spiritual forces is one of the Antichrist signs: "And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people." (Rev 13,14)
Many people have never heard of Chang's miraculous power. As noted in the video, his deceased spiritual master came to him in a dream and told him keep it a secret. Later, however, the deceased master changed his mind. It seems the 'master' now does not object to people seeing his powers. Most people who don't believe in spiritual light and darkness will probably believe his miraculous powers are good. This is one of the reasons why a majority of the world will end up worshiping the Antichrist when the time comes.
These two examples show false prophets, but also show true prophecy fulfilled. There are many prophesied signs that are coming together. So far, I've addressed the prophecy of the rebuilding of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, as outlined in 2 Thessalonians 2.4, and the rise of the Antichrist monetary system in Revelation 13.16-17, as well as the rise of the final secular world government, as described in Daniel Chapter 2. The following related articles address these themes.

These "false Christs" and wonder workers have been around since Christianity began:

And people who have done "magic tricks" like DJ have been around just as long (if not longer).
The you interpret these people as some kind of "sign", when they've never been absent, doesn't speak well of your critical thinking skills, Rick :-)
Havok, Can you name an historical person who called himself Christ and convinced multiple people they were actually his apostles? I don't think so. It seems you have an over-simplified view of history.
ReplyDelete- There are magic tricks and then there are miraculous signs. Your mind is so closed that you cannot even entertain the possibility that a person could perform miracles that defy the physical laws of nature. Even as Jesus said, a person could be raised from the dead right in front of people like you, and you still would not believe in miracles.
"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'" (Luke 16.31)

ReplyDeleteAnonymous, Thanks for your reference. It seems all the ones on the list are from the 19th-20th centuries. Comparing that with the amount of time since the ascension of Christ in the first century, that seems to imply we are in the last days and the amount of deception is increasing.
