Pastor Zehnder Claims "Longest Speech Ever" Title in Guinness Book

Pastor Zehnder of Florida preached for 53 hours and 18 minutes. According to a summary in Christianity Today,  he was inspired to raise money for a non-profit cause as a part of his speaking marathon:

"The Powerhouse Addiction Recovery Program will help people with addictions including alcohol, drug and sex among others. The target of $100,000 was surpassed on Monday with a $10,000 cheque that took the total to more than $102,000."

He had to eat and drink while taking short 30 breaks from speaking. And for other necessary bodily functions, he was only allowed a five-minute break every hour. His theme was basically the entire Bible, preaching from Genesis through Revelation. He used visual aids, such as Power Point. This kind of reminds me of Chuck Missler's through-the-Bible series executed in one combined engagement. Psalm 1.2 comes to mind: "But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night." (NIV). And Joshua 1.8: "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." (NIV).
