Whoopi Goldberg and Other Hollywood Examples of Political and Ethical Illiteracy

Because of their popularity, Hollywood actors are increasingly treated as though they are the high priests of reason and insight when it comes to social and political issues. But when they open up, it's truly shocking what some of these people actually believe and the level of ignorance being proffered to large audiences.

Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg has a wide influence on The View and other talk shows, and she openly supports communism. In a 2012 discussion panel on Bill Mayer's show she said this:

“I don't really view communism as a bad thing.”

You can view the entire discussion on YouTube, where Whoopi implies that the USA represents evil on the same level of evil offered by the most brutal communist regimes in history, if not more so. In answer to this ignorance, I suggest reading about the millions upon millions of people killed in atheistic-communistic regimes for crimes such as believing in God.

Michael Moore

Michael Moore has made millions with his docu-drama films. His personal quotes show that he believes that the earnings of wealthy individuals do not really belong to them, but belong to the state. Ironically, like many self-styled socialist-communist leftists, there is no evidence that he is voluntarily giving money away in proportion to the money that he has taken in profits:

"They're sitting on the money, they're using it for their own -- they're putting it someplace else with no interest in helping you with your life, with that money. We've allowed them to take that. That's not theirs, that's a national resource, that's ours. We all have this -- we all benefit from this or we all suffer as a result of not having it," Michael Moore told Laura Flanders of GRITtv.

Michael Moore is presently promoting his (for profit) Broadway show "The Terms of My Surrender" ...on facebook, "to bring down a sitting president." He implies that voting methods are outdated and that he wants to use other methods to try to overthrow the president: “...the old ways no longer work,” says Moore, “But a million men (and women) in the streets - that works." Moore's vision is in keeping with Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, a book that Hillary Clinton wrote her college thesis on and then tried to keep secret from her politics.

Moore likes to identify himself with communism.  He recently directed a Prophets of Rage Music Video titled, "Unf— the World" - with flashy communist-style symbols of red stars and raised clenched fists. Moore said in a statement that he is, “thrilled to once again be working with my old friends and comrades in the struggle for a just world.” Communism usually does not bring greater justice, however, as the record shows. The political illiteracy does not end there.

On his facebook page, Moore mentions his defense of unfettered immigration by any and all Muslims. The phrase "Islamo-Leftism" was coined in France, where there are presently 751 Islamic totalitarian "No Go Zones," and where it is unsafe to visit if you embrace and promote western freedoms and values. Moore's delusion is evident in that he does not seem to realize that his own livelihood of criticizing the government through creative documentaries would be completely forbidden in a communist regime, as are movies in general in Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia. Why would an artist embrace Islamo-Leftism? What do Michael Moore and Islam have in common?

Both Moore and Islam share intolerance for core western freedoms and values. In the case of Islamic Sharia Law, western women's rights are forbidden, as are rights to free speech and other basic rights. In Moore's case, he is against free-market capitalism, the right to bear arms, and the right for biological female to use a bathroom without a biological male self-identified as transgender coming in, a situation which has incidentally given rise to females being raped in public bathrooms by males, as in the Christopher Hambrook case.

While neither capitalism nor communism are perfect systems, one generally provides higher potential for freedoms, rights and protections, while the other generally results in an overall loss of these.

Jim Carrey

After the comedian Kathy Griffin posted a photo of herself holding a life-like severed head of Donald Trump, that was so graphic that the image traumatized Trump's young son Barron, this was apparently not enough for actor-comedian Jim Carrey, according to an interview. People Magazine outlined how Carrey said, “I don’t think the joke is the problem. It’s not really important.” Carrey offered, "Hold up a severed leg as well." Carrey calls this "art" and does not seem to understand that in a totalitarian state there won't be much license for art at all, let alone free speech.  Carrey has lost not only his sense of humor, but all sense of human dignity, compassion and common sense.

The fact is, the most egregious polluter in the world is China, that repeatedly does not follow environmental protocol. And there is basically no freedom of expression allowed. But you would never hear Hollywood railing against China because that country exemplifies the type of totalitarian society that is the end goal of extremist ideologies generally often supported by Hollywood, as is exemplified by Whoopi Goldberg and Michael Moore.

While Hollywood personalities seems to believe that their values are superior and preferable, the fact is that Hollwood's values, often promoting anti-family lifestyles, graphic unrestricted promiscuity, and self-destructive substance abuse, are all unhealthy for society and conducive to a shortened life. Tourists in Hollywood can visit over 30 sites on a tour where most of the deaths of actors had occurred by suicide. But more than this, many of the pampered Hollywood celebrities don't seem to have a clue that a totalitarian state will bring more misery than happiness to the population at large. Mao Tse Tung aptly pointed out that leftist politics really isn't about creating a world of freedom, rainbows and prancing unicorns, but the demand of forced submission: "Communism is not love. Communism is a hammer which we use to crush the enemy." I don't want to end on a negative note, and I believe that anyone can receive fresh insight and change by God's grace. May God help us to pray for people regularly that need insight into the basis of true meaning and true significance in life. And as Jesus prayed, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
