Scripture, Critical Thinking, and Racism

A lot of us were praying that the protests in Washington DC this weekend regarding 'systemic racism' would not escalate into violence, and it seems there was relative peace. I've felt compelled to write about this because I see a lot of people being manipulated based on popular false narratives. As a Christian, I try to use both scripture and critical thinking in forming opinions.
1) Racism is Real - I believe that racism is real and is a problem, however, it's often exploited for various political motives, and it's important to understand that we cannot force racists to change, and no amount of education, reform, protests, willfully erase racism. Scripture shows that God can change hearts today, and in the future, there will be no sin or racism in God's kingdom.
2) Fake Racism Is Hyped Up – Eric Holder admitted the “Hands Up Don't Shoot” Fergason chant wasn't true. Evidence shows Michael Brown's hands weren't raised, and all “witnesses” later admitted they didn't witness the shooting and were told immediately what to say! Jussie Smollet apparently paid two Nigerians to buy rope and help fake a racial attack. We rarely hear the truth from MSM news about these issues.
3) Cops Abuse Whites Also – The most horrific case of police abuse I'd ever seen was a group of officers beating up a homeless and mentally handicapped white man into a coma, only to die later. You've probably never heard his name because this does not match the police 'systemic racism' narrative. The full security video of the Kelly Thomas beating can be found on YouTube and is extremely disturbing. Just before the altercation began, Ramos snapped on plastic gloves, made two fists, and then held them in front of Thomas's face as he said, "Now see these fists? They're going to (expletive) you up." Incredibly, none of the cops video-taped literally bashing this poor guy's skull in were found guilty. This underscores to me that the bigger problem is not racism but injustice in the world. Most police are good and very necessary.
4) No Evidence of Floyd Racism – The killing of George Floyd was horrific and murderous, but the media has repeated non-stop that George Floyd was killed by 'systemic racism' and I haven't seen any objective evidence supporting racism in the case so far. The arrest was not based on racial profiling and no racial slurs were used that I've heard of. Marxist Racism is a type of fake racism that's used to divide people based on false premises and false narratives. If anyone reading this believes racism was involved, please show some kind of objective evidence as a comment.
5) Exploiting Racism for Politics – As a result of the unproved 'systemic racism' in the Floyd case, and the protests, cities like Los Angeles are now reducing funding of their police department. This will not go well for law-abiding citizens but will help criminals. The answer is to try to better train police and ensure justice for victims with fair courts. Also, MSM news and radicalized activists are trying to blame President Trump for the Floyd killing when Minnesota has been controlled by Democrats. It does not make any sense.
6) Character Over Color - Scripture (Galatians 3:28) is in keeping with the view that identity politics shouldn't be viewed as supervening over the content of our character, and Martin Luther King believed that people should not be judged mainly based on their skin color: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." In contrast to this, proponents of political correctness are claiming that whites are born with a type of guilt for 'white privilege' that they must make reparations for. Scripture states in Deuteronomy 24:16 and Ezekiel 18:20 that, "The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son's iniquity." Ironically, the 'white privilege' concept is actually an extremely racist method of viewing the world. Race is determined by DNA. We can choose to embrace the race we were born with and use our lives for God's glory as we are, or we can make race the main issue in our worldview and bow down to political correctness, which many are being encouraged to do, and even intimidated into doing through harassment and fear.
7) Self-Giving vs Marxism – Marxism is based on the secular atheist view that the meaning of life is fulfilling our impetus to work and that we must fight in a global class struggle. Marx urged that violence should be used to transform society. Because Western Civilization and Capitalism have largely allowed for poor people to become rich and the 'middle class' has not failed as dramatically as hoped for, Marxists are more so trying to exploit racism as a means of dividing society into a 'class struggle' and are also trying to destroy economies so as to weaken sovereign nations. Sadly, MSM news sources like Chris Cuomo are now claiming that violence in racial protests should be considered normal.
Scripture offers a different approach. God's nature is based on personal and voluntary self-giving love, also called agape love in scripture. It's not coerced, it isn't based on guilt, it's not institutionalized by law, it's freely given. The more a society is voluntarily in keeping with the ethical standard of God's nature, the more liberty, peace, and prosperity the society will experience. I'm not saying that there should be a 'theistic government' but I do believe that history, evidence, and logical arguments support my point. Whenever the church has become a bad example in history, it's because the church strayed from scripture. I pray that more people seek God as the true cornerstone of meaning, sound ethics, justice, and happiness. I've been encouraged to hear one online pastor, Greg Laurie, say that up to 4,000 people a week have been turning to God for salvation during this time and it seems a spiritual awakening is occurring.
